The main function of geotextile:

(1) Reinforced stability: Glass fiber composite geotextile can transfer or distribute the local stress acting on the soil to a larger area, and stably limit the deformation and settlement of geotechnical engineering during long-term use.

(2) Isolation: Use glass fiber composite geotextile to isolate different geotextile materials to form a stable interface, so that they can perform their respective characteristics and overall functions according to the design requirements.

(3) Protective function: Glass fiber composite geotextile has good puncture resistance, so it has good protective performance.

(4) Drainage and filtration: Glass fiber composite geotextile can allow water to pass through and block the loss of sand particles. Geotextile is placed horizontally in the channel of flowing liquid with suspended particles to prevent fine mud particles and allow liquid to pass through.

The geotextile production line manufacturer stated that should protect the geotextile roll from damage before installation and deployment. Geotextile rolls shall be stacked in a flat place without water accumulation, and the stacking height shall not exceed the height of four rolls, and the identification list of the rolls can be seen. Geotextile rolls must be covered with opaque material to prevent UV aging. During storage, the integrity of the label and the integrity of the data should be maintained. During transportation (including transportation from the material storage place to the work place), damage to the geotextile roll must be avoided. Physically damaged rolls of geotextile must be repaired. Seriously worn geotextiles cannot be used. Any geotextile that comes into contact with the leaked chemical reagent is not allowed to be used in this project.
